Victorian Music Festivals:

Projects for a New Way

PROJECT SIX: Festival Toolkit

The Toolkit provides resources and links to practical information, case studies and service providers to support the growth and professional delivery of music festivals and events across the State of Victoria. This guide has been developed with funding from the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria, and input from Small Business Victoria, RMIT and with the organisations that support creativity in all its forms including Songlines, the Australia Council for the Arts, A New Approach and local government.

The information in this music festivals specific guide is provided without bias and will be updated as information becomes available. If you have any suggestions, read material that is incorrect or click links that need updating, please do not hesitate to contact us. Similarly, if your business or service is not represented and is a must for the successful delivery of a festival, please feel free to contact Australian Festival Association via email: [email protected]. AFA's aim is to equip the Victorian music festivals industry so that together we can better navigate regulatory processes, stakeholder relationships, planning & programming, promotion frameworks and apply trusted methods that enhance local live music scenes, and involve this nation's first people and its music loving communities.
