The Australian Festival Association was a proud initiator of the ilostmygig.net.au site alongside our friends at the Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN). The AFA and AMIN together with supporters right around the industry aimed to tally the losses to our industry as a result of the recent necessary social distancing measures.
​
Festivals were the first areas to be effectively 'switched off' overnight and it's likely they will be the last to reopen. A sector largely run by sole traders and contract work, those running businesses or working in this industry have already been really hard hit by this crisis.
