About the Event
In response to the impacts of COVID-19, the PGAV and Australian Festivals Association (AFA) have come together to present an overview of Victoria’s visitor economy as it stands now. Public art galleries and festivals are operating in a new environment with unprecedented opportunities to work with regional partners, collaborate across industries, leverage local strategies, and attract Victorian and interstate visitors. This session will examine the Victorian Government’s Visitor Economy Recovery and Reform Plan; Visit Victoria’s Stay Close, Go Further campaign and Regional Tourism Review; and Western Melbourne Tourism’s plans for tourism across Melbourne’s western regions.
